Aydın Tağıyev Awarded the Hasan Bey Zardabi Prize
Aydın Tağıyev has been awarded the Hasan Bey Zardabi Prize in recognition of his significant contributions to promoting patriotism and the ideology of Azerbaijani national identity.
He is the author of the historic works "The First Victory March," "The Homeland March," and "Mr. Supreme Commander," dedicated to Azerbaijan's victories, achievements, and national successes. These works have been included in the Golden Archive of Azerbaijan State Television.
Aydın Tağıyev is also the author of the official anthem of the Azerbaijan Real Aikido Sports Club and serves as an honorary member of the club. In addition, he is an honorary member of the Azerbaijan Hand-to-Hand Combat Federation and the Rope Wrestling Sports Federation. He has also been elected an honorary member of the Azerbaijan Corporate Business Association (AKİAB).
For nearly six years, Tağıyev has led the nationwide "Homeland" Project, which operates across Azerbaijan. As part of this initiative, he has personally visited and supported nearly 200 families of fallen servicemen (martyrs). The project is currently developing nine books.
For more than a decade, Aydın Tağıyev has actively promoted the realities of Azerbaijan to the international community. Nearly one hundred of his articles on historical and social issues have been published in domestic and international media outlets in Turkish, English, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, Georgian, Korean, Romanian, Arabic, and several other languages.
During the Second Karabakh War, Aydın Tağıyev brought together nearly twenty prominent public figures—including representatives of government ministries, foundation executives, press secretaries, television journalists, diaspora representatives, and business leaders—to produce the documentary project "The Truth About Karabakh: 1992–2020." Presented with English subtitles, the project's primary objective was to communicate the realities of Karabakh to the international community.
He has also delivered lectures and training sessions on "National and Moral Values and Citizenship" at approximately ten universities across Azerbaijan.
In addition, Aydın Tağıyev regularly appears as a political commentator on the country's leading newspapers, radio stations, and television channels, providing analytical perspectives on political and social affairs.
Earlier this month, his latest book, "The Architect of Victory: Mr. Supreme Commander," was officially presented to the public.
