According to **The Guardian**, the world's football governing body earned **$15 billion (approximately AZN 25.5 billion)** from the tournament, significantly exceeding its initial projection of **$11 billion**.
The increase in revenue was largely driven by the sale of VIP packages and match tickets, particularly through the secondary ticket market. FIFA reportedly receives a **15% commission** from both buyers and sellers on these transactions.
It is worth noting that the remaining VIP tickets for the **Spain vs. Argentina** final are currently priced at **$34,500 (around AZN 58,600)** per person.
