HORROR IN AZERBAIJAN: Man Killed While Praying, Wife Arrested

Details have emerged about a murder that took place in the Masazir settlement of Azerbaijan’s Absheron district.

According to reports, the incident occurred in the morning at a house on Murad Mirzayev Street. The homeowner, 48-year-old Elsafa Rahimov, reportedly had an argument with his wife earlier that morning. After the argument ended, he went into another room and began praying.

It is alleged that at that moment, his wife attacked him from behind with a knife, resulting in his death.

According to available information, the couple had been living in the house for around 10 years and had two children together. Both the husband and wife had reportedly been practicing their faith for a long time.

The incident was reportedly first noticed by local real estate agents, who informed the police.

Police subsequently detained 43-year-old A. Aliyeva as a suspect in connection with the incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
