A passenger car has collided with a truck in the Tartar district, leaving two people dead

According to information provided by the Press Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to APA, the “112” emergency hotline received a report about a road accident in the area of Tazakend village, where citizens were trapped inside a vehicle.

Following the report, rescuers from the Karabakh Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were immediately dispatched to the scene.

During the assessment of the situation at the accident site, it was determined that a road traffic accident involving a Mercedes passenger car and a MAN truck had occurred. As a result of the crash, the bodies of two people were found trapped inside the Mercedes vehicle.

Using special equipment, rescuers removed the bodies of Adil Ibrahim oglu Ahmadov, born in 1962, and Elza Novruz gizi Amirova, born in 1973, both residents of Garaqoyunlu village in the Barda district, from the severely damaged vehicle and handed them over to the relevant authorities.

An investigation into the incident is currently being carried out by the relevant agencies.
