Azerbaijan's population figure has been announced

Since the beginning of the year, the country's population has increased by 9,287 people, or 0.1 percent, reaching 10,271,638 as of June 1, 2026.

According to information provided to APA by the State Statistical Committee, urban residents account for 54.3 percent of the population and rural residents for 45.7 percent, while men make up 49.8 percent and women 50.2 percent.
