New Working Hours Model Planned in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan plans to introduce flexible working-hour models based on international best practices.

According to Report, the initiative is included in the 2026–2030 Action Plan for the Implementation of the Employment Strategy, approved by President Ilham Aliyev through an official decree.

Under the action plan, draft legislation regulating the implementation of flexible working arrangements is expected to be prepared and submitted to the relevant authorities during the implementation period.

The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population has been tasked with carrying out the program.
