Good News for More Than 1,300 Working Pensioners

The pensions of more than 1,300 retirees who continue to work after reaching retirement age have been increased following a proactive recalculation based on six years of additional employment.

According to the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, if a person continues working after being granted an old-age pension, their pension is recalculated and increased in accordance with the law once they complete six years of employment after retirement.

The ministry stated that, since the end of last year, this recalculation has been carried out automatically through a proactive mechanism. As a result, eligible pensioners no longer need to submit an application for their pensions to be reviewed.

Since the launch of the proactive system, the pensions of more than 1,300 working old-age pensioners have been increased following the six-year recalculation process.

Individuals whose pensions are recalculated also receive an SMS notification informing them of the updated pension amount.
