The organizers of the 5th National Highland Festival have issued an official statement regarding the incident that occurred during the event.
According to Faktxeber.az, the statement said that reports published by some websites and media outlets claiming that the "main stage collapsed" are inaccurate.
It noted that the festival's main stage remained fully operational throughout the event, and the concert program on the second day continued successfully until 10:00 p.m.
According to the statement, the incident did not occur on the main stage. Instead, it took place near the horse-racing arena at a lightweight wooden shelter with a reed roof that had been erected solely for storing hay intended for horses. The shelter was not designed for public use, was not equipped with tables or seating, and no services were provided there.
