Teacher Workload to Be Reduced – Official

“According to an OECD study, Azerbaijani teachers are among the most active users of artificial intelligence.”

“Azərbaycan müəllimi” reports that this was stated by Vusal Khanlarov, Head of the Department of Education System Informatization.

“Azerbaijan is not ranked first in the world, but it is positioned among the higher-ranking countries. Azerbaijani teachers make extensive use of artificial intelligence. In particular, they actively use these tools in the process of planning and preparing lessons,” Khanlarov said.

According to the department head, starting from next year, it is planned to remove the obligation for teachers to prepare annual plans and lesson summaries.

“We want teachers to stop writing annual plans and summaries from next year onward. Instead of spending their time preparing these documents, teachers should focus on how they will prepare for each individual lesson throughout the academic year,” he said.
