Law on Teachers' Dress Code Adopted

A legal framework is being introduced to regulate the dress code for teachers.

According to Axar.az, the provision is included in amendments to the Law on General Education, which were discussed at today's session of the National Assembly (Milli Majlis).

The amendments also formally establish, at the legislative level, the requirement for students in state general education institutions to comply with the dress code that has already been introduced.

The primary objective of these legislative changes is to strengthen a unified approach to the governance of state general education institutions, promote organizational culture, reinforce school discipline, foster a professional working environment, and create more effective conditions for all participants in the educational process.

The bill was put to a vote and was adopted in its third and final reading.
