What Will the Weather Be Like Tomorrow?

A yellow weather warning has been issued for windy conditions expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula on July 16, and in several regions across Azerbaijan between July 16 and 18.

According to Axar.az, the National Hydrometeorological Service released the warning in an official statement.

Under the yellow warning, northwesterly winds are forecast for Baku and the Absheron Peninsula. Easterly winds are expected in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and the districts of Kalbajar, Lachin, Zangilan, Jabrayil, Fuzuli, Guba, Gusar, Shabran, Siyazan, Khizi, Khachmaz, Saatli, Sabirabad, Shirvan, Hajigabul, Neftchala, Salyan, Bilasuvar, Jalilabad, Lerik, Yardimli, Balakan, Gakh, Zagatala, Sheki, Gazakh, Aghstafa, Shamkir, Tovuz, Gadabay, Dashkasan, Goranboy, Naftalan, Samukh, Ganja, and Mingachevir.

Wind speeds are expected to range between 13.9 and 20.7 meters per second.
